Hello, friends! I have spent the week in book launch mode (it’s finally showing as available from Amazon if you want one!) and I finally had to do something about the insanity that was my desk, and is still parts of my office (more on that soon).
I’m really wanting to get back into #projectsimplify and all the decluttering I had planned for this year, but the book has taken a lot of time, which is a good problem to have.
We are big fans of all kinds of sensory stuff, especially if it’s messy. I’m going to have to keep this recipe for sensory foam from Simply Living in mind the next time we have a holiday from school. It’s just soap, water and liquid watercolors, but the more you mix the foamier it gets. So fun!
Last year our broccoli plants got devoured by caterpillars, so I’m really interested in the recipes and other tips for natural garden pest remedies offered by HEN Family. I might have to try that herbal bug spray…now if only I could keep the squirrels from eating my strawberries!
And after my dragon egg DIY last week, I couldn’t resist sharing the printable dragon puppet from Create in the Chaos. You print it out, color it and assemble it with tape, yarn and cardboard to make a marionette style puppet. You could probably also tape it to a cardboard tube and just play with it as a dragon.
