We’ve been busy this week enjoying the last few days of summer as much as we could — the girl started kindergarten today! So, not much to report other than I’m back and ready to start blogging more regularly and bringing you all kinds of good stuff.
Speaking of good stuff, there was a lot of it in the linky last week.
We’re still thinking about our recent beach vacation, so I love the sand play dough recipe and invitation to play from Study at Home Mama. If you have a sandbox you have everything you need to make this fun play dough already.
Using chalk, chalk paint, frozen watercolors and other fun artsy things outside is a great way to play when it’s hot and you want to be outside but stay in the shade. This sensory spray chalk from Letters in the Sand is a great way to combine painting and science. It’s similar to the chalk paint we make, but with baking soda added so you can drop vinegar on your creations and watch them sizzle.
Whether your kids have already started back to school or you’ve got some more time, you can probably use some of the back-to-school organizing tips from H20 Bungalow. From tips on decluttering to home communication stations, she’s got you covered for keeping schoolwork, clothes and more under control.
