Thank you to everyone who shared a post this week! We had a great response and it’s so gratifying to see something you’ve worked on start to build. If you’re a crafty blogger I’d love for you to share your ideas here.
If you can’t get to the beach, the next best thing is being surrounded by things that remind you of the beach. Did you know you can craft a seaglass look just by mixing white glue and food coloring? Check it out at Chitter Chatter with a Mother and Daughter. I will definitely be trying this out.
I’m growing lavender for the first time ever (because I wanted some in our butterfly garden), so this tutorial on making your own lavender essential oil from Condo Blues caught my eye. If you use nice vodka, you’re also making lavender liqueur, which might also be great for summer.
And I’m thinking a lot about summer activities because the girl has four more days (!) of school. This printable play activity to go with “Five Green and Speckled Frogs” from Syncopated Mama is so cute. Print out the frogs, glue them to pieces of construction paper, slip them onto a paper towel roll “log,” and you’re all ready to act out this fun song.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
