It has exactly three ingredients and takes less than three minutes to make.
What You’ll Need
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 cup dishwashing liquid
- 2 tbs. glycerine
- large bowl
All you have to do is mix the three ingredients together gently. It’s said to work best when you’ve let it sit overnight, but we used it immediately and it worked just fine.
We didn’t make huge bubbles with it like shown at Frugal Fun 4 Boys, but I’m sure we’ll try that at some point, too.
But this makes a large quantity of bubble solution that works great, so it’s good to use even if you aren’t making giant bubbles. Just store the leftovers in mason jars for bubbly fun all summer long.
And check out this post if you want to learn more about bubbles and do other activities related to bubbles.
Do you have a kid who loves bubbles? Have you ever made your own bubble solution? I’d love to hear about it and to learn your recipe!
