Now that the girl has been back in school a week, I’m starting to feel a little bit more like I have a handle on things. But I’m still not crafting much, and I really need to get on the ball for the girl’s birthday party, which is next weekend. I can’t believe she’s going to be 7!
This Week’s Featured Posts
Because I have birthdays on the brain, I love this pop-up birthday card from Crafty Chic’s Blog. Even though I don’t have a Cricut so I couldn’t really make it myself, I still think it’s amazing (and I may just have to get one of those fancy cutting machines one of these days!).
Lynda Creates has a super cute tote bag with a little fox in a teacup, which is a shape you can purchase, or you could add whatever shape you like to add a dose of cuteness to your bag, which would be perfect for library books.
And because I recently did a post about painting on and with seashells, I couldn’t resist these Sharpie-decorated shells from the Finnish blog kaikkeakotona. They’re a little more complex than mine but they’re gorgeous.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
