I feel like I’m finally getting back into the swing of things from the summer and the birthday and everything (only to be going out of town next week, so we’ll see if I can hang on to this good feeling). Still not a lot of crafting, but I have been knitting in the evenings again and that feels good. May finally finish some projects I’ve been working on for a while.
This Week’s Featured Posts
Somehow all my favorite posts this week are paper craft related. I must be trying to tell myself something…
I have wanted to do DIY scratch art (fancy term: Sgraffito; who knew?) for a while and have actually colored some papers with oil pastels in order to do so but have never finished. This DIY from Al Things Beautiful has me inspired to go through with it this time. I know the girl will love it.
I love doodling and randomly decorating things with stamps and found objects, so naturally I was attracted to the DIY black and white collage paper that Rebecca Janousek made. Gather a bunch of random stuff, a sheet of paper and some paint and you’re ready to go! Check her site to see how she used it, too.
I am a big fan of homemade bookmarks, and we always seem to need more than we have lying around. These paper bookmarks from Ali’s Book Nook are really cute and easy to make. A great use of scraps, too.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
