I had a lot of fun last week making things on the theme of orange for my weekly creativity prompt. It feels good to be making again, and I hope you’ll join me if your creativity needs a boost!
I love a good vegetable (or turkey or chicken) pot pie, but it can take a long time to cook and is not always practical for a weeknight. This super simple vegetable pot pie that uses Bisquick and frozen vegetables is a fine alternative for busy days when you just need some comfort food. Get the recipe from 2 Dishing Divas.
I have had most of my sweaters for a long time, and I’ll admit to sometimes being a little bored with how plain some of them are. Sum of their Stories has an easy tutorial for a sweater refashion by embroidering daisies on a plain sweater. So cute and easy!
And I’m guessing we could all use more storage and places to put the odds and ends that get scattered all over the house before we put them away. Pillar Box Blue covered boxes from Ikea with denim and fabric to make bits and bobs baskets to hold stuff on its way back to its regular home. I love these!
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
