I am starting to get in a bit of a panic about how soon Christmas is. I have done literally no shopping other than for my daughter, I have lots of knitting I’d like to get done, not to mention lots of work I’d like to get done before the girl is home from school for two weeks!
But there’s always time for crafting, right? Whether you’re procraftinating or making holiday gifts, the link party has a bunch of great ideas for you.
Really there was so much cute stuff this week you should go check out the whole linky. Really hard to just pick three this week!
After spending the day in the kitchen yesterday making non-baked items for the girl’s school’s bake sale, I’m drawn to these chocolate and peanut butter cracker cookies from Budget Girl. They’re not a particularly fast project, because you have to make all the peanut butter sandwiches and then dip them in chocolate, but they almost couldn’t be simpler and I’m sure they are delicious.
If you need a fun activity with minimal prep for when the kids are home or if you’re trying to entertain kids while the food is getting ready, this candy cane fishing for ornaments game from There’s Just One Mommy would be a lot of fun to try. Gather some unbreakable ornaments, sticks, string and candy canes and you’re ready to go. Adults will have fun with this one, too.
And this sewn pillow cover from Dazzle While Frazzled is a quick and easy project for last-minute holiday decorating. A child who is learning to sew could probably handle this, too, and I love that it can be made with scraps and random pieces left over from other projects.

Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
