Hello crafty friends! I’ve been sidelined this week by a sick girl and a knitting injury from making too many pussycat hats! (And I didn’t even save one for myself; I’ll have to knit one more for posterity.)
I hope you’ve had a great week and a chance to make something great.
I’m still working on the great office cleanout of 2016, and I’m super excited about the space I’m creating for myself. Hope to be able to show it off soon!
Clearly a lot of folks are better at planning than I am, because they’re talking about Valentine’s Day already. I love this valentine box made out of a six pack holder from Dazzle While Frazzled. I think you could also keep some of the inner dividers in and make it a caddy for storing your valentine-making supplies, if your kid is into making their own (mine is).
I don’t like candy conversation hearts, but I have to admit they’re pretty cute. Love My Big Happy Family was inspired by conversation hearts to make a wall hanging with all her family members represented with a heart. So cute!
And if you want to make a Valentine’s Day wreath, you can do it for $2 with the DIY from Frugal Elegance. Grab a heart-shaped foam decoration and some faux rose petals from the dollar store and you can have this one on your wall or door in no time.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
