This week I’m finally starting to feel a little creative again. I’m having ideas, which is great, and some of which I’ll be able to share with you soon.
I’ve been super-focused on cleaning up my office, which has taken a lot of time and energy but is so good. Getting the mental and literal cobwebs out, so to speak. I hope you’re having a great January and are on track with your goals for the year.
After last week’s full-on Valentine’s themed roundup, I thought I’d share some non-holiday-related posts today.
I love the smell of coffee, but coffee-scented things often end up not smelling so great. So why not just burn plain candles in bowls of coffee beans? That’s what Mary at the Boondocks Blog did, and I think it’s brilliant.
The girl got a sewing machine for her birthday, and I’m always looking for little projects she can make. I think she’d love these doll headbands from Creatively Homemade, and you could easily make matching ones for little girls (or women), too.
And I love this festive Happy Birthday box from Hoopla Palooza. It’s made with a string of battery-powered lights and a box from the “dollar spot” at Target, but you could probably find these supplies other places, too. So easy and fun for a special gift or a box of goodies.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
