Hello, crafters! Welcome to another week of the Creatively Crafty link party.
I had high hopes for this week but I’ve been doing a lot of non-crafty but still awesome stuff. Spring break is next week, so I hope we’ll get a chance to do some great making. The girl wanted me to whip up a twirly skirt for her this morning before school, so maybe we’ll work on that next week.
I also started yet another pussycat hat for an auction that’s happening next month. They are so easy and fun.
This bleach spray shamrock shirt from Let Go of Being Perfect is a great last-minute idea if you need a holiday-themed shirt, but it’s also a solid tutorial for doing a simple shape transfer using freezer paper and spraying on bleach. You could use this technique for all sorts of projects.
Painting glass is such a fun and easy technique, and a great way to upcycle plain glass bottles into something more fun. Check out the spring painted bottles over at the Boondocks Blog for some inspiration and techniques.
And this one just made me laugh and could not be simpler. Chick magnets are just purchased chicks (the ones shown on Hoopla Palooza are from Target, but I’ve seen similar at the dollar store, too) hot-glued to magnets. Check the post for more details and the adorable results.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
