Hello, crafty friends! We had an amazing spring break full of crafty goodness that I’ll be sharing over the next few weeks. And there’s something about spring weather that makes me want to create more, so I hope to be able to keep the inspiration coming.
This Week’s Featured Posts
One of the projects the girl asked to do recently was a little embroidery project (huge mama win when they ask to craft, right?). It only took a couple of sessions for her to finish, but I could see something like these magnetic needle minders from Condo Blues being helpful in the future when she does a bigger project. And I already have some bottle cap magnets that would work great for this purpose.
Here’s an easy upcycle that I think all of us could manage. If you have an old T-shirt that’s maybe the wrong size or has a stain on it, you can use some of the fabric to make a stretchy headband. Get the DIY from Let Go of Being Perfect.
And because those two have to do with sewing, how about a no-sew project, too? I wish I’d known about this idea for a tiered rainbow table skirt back when we were doing rainbow themed birthday parties. But this idea from Paisley and Pugs could be done in any colors for a girly theme party of any sort. So cute!
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
