Hello, crafty friends! I spent the week mending jeans and getting ready for an anniversary getaway with the husband (15 years today).
There was much more cleaning than crafting going on, but hopefully the house will still be clean when we get back and it will be easier to keep it up in the future, which means more crafting time!
This Week’s Featured Posts
I pretty much never wear earrings, but this idea for an earring display from the Boondocks Blog is super cute. It’s a great bit of upcycling, too, if you happen to have a picture frame and some old lace lying around. It would make a great, gift, too — maybe for your kid’s accessory-loving teacher?
My crafty compadre Gina popped in this week with some super-cute paper kites. I didn’t even realize they were hers until I clicked the link! She made the kites into a banner but they’d be super cute on summery greeting cards or invitations to a summer party, too.
And because I’m always collecting but not often sewing adorable skirts for my daughter, I had to throw in this tulle-lined skirt from Keeping it Real. It looks pretty easy and I do happen to have some leftover tulle lying around…
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
