Hi, crafty friends!
This week I’ve been cleaning, thinking about new projects (crafty and otherwise), doing chalk art with the girl, avoiding Facebook and sinking in to summer!
I hope you’re having a great one, and happy Independence Day to all my American friends. Let’s make something great this weekend, shall we?
This Week’s Featured Posts
Speaking of the Fourth of July, there were of course lots of great red, white and blue crafts on offer last week. One of my faves was Cassie Smallwood’s 4th of July table runner made out of burlap and bandanas. So. Cute!
Our house was new when we bought it, and there was some leftover tile hanging around that is still here six years later. I love this idea to use tile on trays or a lazy Susan. Head over to Domestic Deadline for the DIY.
And how about a quick and easy kids’ craft that might also use some scraps? Our Unschooling Journey Through Life shows how to use plastic lids, glue and glass beads to make suncatchers. Or use all sorts of little scraps like beads, buttons, random little bits, to make decorations for the garden.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
