Happy spring everyone! It’s Spring Break here in Arkansas, and we had our first potentially severe storm of the season, so it definitely feels like spring here. I hope if that’s not the case where you live that you’ll get there soon.
This week has been full of lots of fun, and I shared a post earlier this week about using junk mail to make spring shapes, which is a craft you and the kids can do together.
We had a great number of posts this week, so thanks for that!
Spring Break means lots of trips to the library; we’ve already been twice. So I loved the post from Syncopated Mama full of reasons to love the library. These are some great reminders of services the library provides and ways to use the library to save money.
Mama Goes Frugal has a great idea for making a kitchen spray out of just two or three ingredients, one of which is lime rinds. Lime smells so good, and the oils from limes are antibacterial, so you get a boost two ways.
And because Easter is right around the corner, I couldn’t resist the Kate Spade inspired Easter eggs from Ash and Crafts. She used a paint pen, which opens up a lot of possibilities for decorating eggs in fancy ways, don’t you think?
