I have missed a few weeks of the Creatively Crafty link party thanks to working, vacation and having the girl home at various times in the past month, but here I am again. It’s been a crazy busy summer so far but July will be a lot better in terms of me actually being able to get some work done, though making all the memories we have so far has been great.
I know we’re past the Fourth of July, but I’ve been seeing these gem lanterns all over the Internet lately and this one with a red, white and blue twist from 2 Crochet Hooks is a nice take on the theme. I might be making something in this genre really soon; I already have a bunch of craft gems I’ve been wondering what to do with!
The DIY wooden shapes puzzles from Grillo Designs are super cute and easy. They’d be great as a quick DIY baby or toddler gift, or to make for your own child while they nap.
And Use Resources Wisely has a great tutorial for making no-sew pillows out of old T-shirts. It’s always fun to reuse loved items in a new way instead of just storing your favorite old tees in a box. This one uses an adult shirt but you could possibly make tiny pillows with kid’s shirts, too.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
