I am still quite in denial that Thanksgiving is next week. The girl has all of next week off from school and I have no plan at all for what we are going to do with the time, and we have no firm plans for the holiday, either. Here’s to playing everything by ear!
I do not need any more fall wreaths in my life right now, but this turkey wreath from Dazzle While Frazzled is adorable. And it’s mostly made out of a brown paper grocery bag, which is awesome. If you have a supply of bags (and cardstock or felt) handy you probably already have everything you need to make this, other than the wreath form.
I saw a car with reindeer ears on it yesterday. It seemed a little premature for a day it hit 85, but whatever. These no-sew burlap reindeer napkin rings from Purple Hues and Me are so cute for your holiday table. Or attach the antlers to a headband for the perfect goofy holiday accessory.
And if you’re thinking about DIY gift ideas, these microwavable rice and herb bags from Clever Little Mouse are really easy to put together if you have basic sewing skills. They’d be perfect teacher/neighbor/whoever gifts and you can make a bunch at once without spending too much time on it.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
