This week between Christmas and New Years is a great time to recharge. My family has been home all week, which has been great for fun, but not so good for productivity. I did start a new knit blanket for my daughter after a trip to the craft store today, so that’s something.
I hope while you make your resolutions for the next year that you’ll include some crafty goals and that this link party can be an inspiration to you.
Add a little bling to your bathroom, or anywhere else that needs some fun little containers, with this dipped glitter container tutorial from Lolly Jane. Wouldn’t this be great for paintbrushes or other art supplies?
Life Beyond the Kitchen has a great collection of quick paper ornaments that would have been great for Christmas, but some of them would be cute at other times of year to decorate gifts or greeting cards. I love the newspaper quilled stars.
And if you need a quick hostess gift for New Year’s Eve, or just a little something for an easy New Year’s Day breakfast, check out the Orange Poppy Seed Loaf recipe and sewn cozy from 3 Winks Writes. Such a great idea.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
