Happy new year, crafty people! I didn’t intend to take the week off, but it was really nice being home with my family and focusing on being together instead of writing. I’m also feeling energized for this new year (which makes sense, given my word for the year) and excited to share some new crafts and other ideas with you.
If you haven’t printed out a calendar for the new year yet, or you just need another one for some reason (no judgement here, I love printed calendars!) Lolly Jane has collected a bunch of free printable calendars. I have the one from Landeelu, and I’m thinking hard about the Star Wars one from the Cottage Market for my daughter.
This time of year all I want to do is make and eat soup. And while I’m home all day so I could make soup that takes hours and hours (and sometimes I do) I prefer faster recipes like this yummy looking quick pozole rojo from Knorr and Jennifer Priest. I can’t wait to try it (though I’d do it with chicken; don’t tell!).
And because this time of year is ripe for organization, check out these no-sew fabric basket liners from Dazzle While Frazzled. It’s a really clever idea and a great way to make a bunch of different baskets look harmonious or to tie into your decor.
This Week’s Linky
Thank you for listing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party. Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff. We will also feature different projects so head over there to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
You can also find us on Pinterest, where we will share featured posts.
Don’t forget to grab our “featured on” button if you like!
There are just a few simple rules:
- Link to a specific post, not your home page.
- Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
- Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
- Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
- Have fun!
