Creatively Crafty Link Party Week 66

Hello, crafty friends!

This week I’ve been celebrating the girl and feeling all the feelings as she did her dance recital for the year. It’s so fun to see kids work really hard at something and then do an amazing job when they get to show it to the world (that’s not just my kid; it was a great program in general).

The end of school is so. close. And I’m ready for a summer full of crafty goodness, vacations and fun. In the meantime, why not a little crafting for the home and garden?

I love this idea for using an old pan as a picture frame from Dazzle While Frazzled. I have a square pan we used to use for sensory activities that would be perfect for this (and, confession, I love Super 77 from way back).

And speaking of frames, if you happen to have an extra picture frame lying around, you can easily make it into a tray to use in your decor. Check Find It, Fix It or Build It for the how-to. This might be a project involving a drill that I can actually do!

Now that the inside of our house is a little prettier, let’s work on the garden. Why no build your own self-watering planter box with a trellis for your future flowers or vegetables to climb on? Condo Blues has all the details, which might be a little beyond my skills but it’s still really cool.

Try it - Like it

There are just a few simple rules:

  • Link to a specific post, not your home page.
  • Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
  • Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
  • Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.
  • Have fun!

  1. Thanks so much for featuring my frame turned tray, and for hosting! Your comment about using a drill brought back memories of the first time I decided to pick one up and try to figure out how to use it, haha…I’d seen my husband use it, but had to sit and figure out how to change out drill bits and screwdriver bits and which way to turn the silver part at the end…as you can see, I still don’t know the terminology for all the tools I use, but that doesn’t stop me from building! Have a great week:)
