Just so you know, I’m a member of Petit Jean Meats’ Blue Diamond Club, which means I received a gift box and one to give away in exchange for this post. But y’all, this company is the reason I eat way more pork than I used to.
With the holidays upon us, everyone is thinking about gift ideas and ways to thank people who have been awesome to us through the year. I love gifts that I know are going to get used, and let me tell you, if you give a gift box from Petit Jean Meats it is sure to get used.
These boxes offer a variety of deliciousness including different kinds of ham, bacon and other meats produced by the company. My favorite box of all, especially this time of year, though, is the Breakfast Box.
This is the perfect gift if you’re going to be spending the holidays at someone else’s house, because they’ll basically have breakfast covered without a lot of effort. It would also make a great host or hostess gift for someone throwing a Christmas or New Year’s party, because who wants to think about breakfast when your house is a mess from entertaining?
Here’s what comes in the breakfast box:
- 16 ounces EZ carve ham slices
- 16 ounces thick-cut bacon
- 12 ounces pepper bacon
- 16 ounces fresh pork sausage
- 1 cinnamon coffee cake
The box retails for $57.
- bacon and eggs
- biscuits and gravy
- ham and eggs (with or without biscuits)
- sausage rolls
- sausage biscuits
- or just eat the coffee cake with some coffee and call it a morning
An idea I really love for a crowd is a make-your-own-breakfast-sandwich bar. Cook up the bacon and sausage (in patties) and warm up some ham. Make biscuits and a mess of eggs, whatever style you like. Whenever people wake up they can choose the toppings they like and have a perfect little low-mess, low-stress breakfast.
If you’d like a chance to sample the Breakfast Box or to give it as a gift this holiday season, you’re in luck because I have one to give away.
This contest is open through Dec. 15, and includes one breakfast box to be shipped to you as soon as you get me your address. There are options for multiple ways to enter, but I really want to know what your favorite thing for breakfast is. I am really loving biscuits and gravy lately.
Thanks for visiting, good luck and happy holidays!
