We’ve made bubble solution before, but since there was a giant bubble wand in the girl’s summer fun kit we needed a lot more solution, stat.
I found this recipe at Happy Hooligans, and another at Frugal Fun 4 Boys, which was even easier so that’s the one we went with.
It has exactly three ingredients and takes less than three minutes to make.
What You’ll Need
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 cup dishwashing liquid
- 2 tbs. glycerine
- large bowl
- spoon
How to Make Giant Bubble Solution
All you have to do is mix the three ingredients together gently. It’s said to work best when you’ve let it sit overnight, but we used it immediately and it worked just fine.
We didn’t make huge bubbles with it like shown at Frugal Fun 4 Boys, but I’m sure we’ll try that at some point, too.
But this makes a large quantity of bubble solution that works great, so it’s good to use even if you aren’t making giant bubbles. Just store the leftovers in mason jars for bubbly fun all summer long.
